Ingredients
- 500g fresh amla (Indian gooseberry)
- 500g sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp rock salt or black salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
To serve the sharbat
- Pour 2–3 tablespoons of the prepared amla concentrate into a glass.
- Fill the rest of the glass with chilled water or soda.
- Add ice cubes and garnish with a few mint leaves if desired.
